Ángel Zamora is a partner at Zamora de Claver, responsible for the Commercial and Real Estate Law departments. In the commercial field, he regularly advises on corporate law, transactions (M), insolvencies, restructurings, and corporate disputes. Additionally, Ángel serves as an arbitrator or party representative in arbitration proceedings on these matters. He is a member of the Spanish Arbitration Club and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
In the real estate sector, his experience advising companies in this field is noteworthy. Currently, he is a board member and secretary of the board for companies developing residential, tourism, and retail projects. Furthermore, he collaborates with the Energy department, which he initially established, as a reference lawyer for some of the main renewable energy companies.
For over ten years, he has complemented his professional career by collaborating with the University of Navarra, where he is a professor of commercial law in postgraduate programs, teaching the subject of Commercial Praxis. He has also been a professor of commercial law at the University of Seville and Carlos III University.
He is co-author of the article Disproportionate Sacrifice and Challenge of Approved Refinancing Agreements, Spanish Jurisprudence and European Directive on Early Restructuring, published in issue 31 of the Journal of Insolvency and Para-insolvency Law (La Ley Publishing).
